Things we have done for entertainment.

I went to a show called Festival of the Lion King. The lights went off. I felt a shiver in my body. Then I saw some smoke. I saw fire, then I heard music.

I went to the Foo Fighters concert. It was very loud. It was good because I brought my earplugs and after when I went home, I had a headache but my Dad didn't.

By Sian.

I went to a show called Beauty and the Beast. Smoke came out and it was so cool. I said to Dad,
"Look at that!" The beast was turning into a man. He was magic. I can't believe the beast did that. It was the best show I have ever seen.

I went to a concert. It was my sister playing the oboe. She was playing with a group. Some people were playing the violin and some other people were playing other instruments. It was sort of noisy. When it was finished I bought some lollies to eat because I had to sit down for two hours.

Boogying at the Disco

Molly and I really enjoyed dancing at the disco. The DJ thought that we were so good at dancing he said we could dance on the stage. We had extremely cool clothes. I wore a fairy princess costume and Molly wore a 70's outfit with lots of dots.

Our Models Showing the Digestive System

We worked in groups to make our models. First we chose one group member to trace around. We wanted to make the organs using papier mache but as that proved very tricky, we began to think of other ways we could make them. We decided to make springs so that the organs really stood out on our models. We were pleased with the results and we have received lots of great comments about them.

A Digestive Journey by Charlotte

Hi, my name is Carrie the cake and I'm about to go on a journey through the digestive system.
In I go! I'm in the mouth and starting to get into little pieces. Oh and it's sticky and it's saliva! The tongue is coming. I'm in the esophagus. I am feeling something sticky and gooey. Oh, muscles are pushing me. It's amazing and I'm in the stomach and there are juices. Oh and I'm going around and around. Also amazing. Oooooh! Are there any animals in here? I am in the small intestine - oooooh interesting. It's so amazing in the digestive system. Wow! I don't know what the large intestine is but I am inside it now and the water is disappearing. Ha, ha, ha! It is the last chance for it to take the good stuff. That is why I look so different now. There's the end of the large intestine and I am waiting in the rectum. Now I am going to get flushed away!

A Digestive Journey by Dimitrios

Hi, my name is Simon the Sausage and I'm about to go on a journey through the digestive system.
First, I go into the mouth. I get wet by the saliva and I get chewed up. Then I get swallowed into the esophagus - weeeee! I'm going down a big slide. Oh, that was a short slide. Now I am in the stomach. It is really, really sticky down here but it is smelly too. I am getting mixed up. I'm now going into the small intestine. It is dark in here. What's that picking at me? I am happy now, that I am going into a bright place. Then I can see what is happening to me. What is that thing on the wall? I'm in the large intestine now and I want to come out. I'm being stored in the rectum. The brain will tell this person when it's time for me to get flushed away.
